Talking I did it! I lost fifty pounds!
AS of last Sunday, I met my first goal of 50 lbs using this WOE. I can't describe how wonderful I feel, although it's rather bittersweet since my daughter/wl partner bailed out and has gained back most of the weight she lost (but, she'll come around!).

I've set a secondary goal of 10 more. I feel fantastic! My energy level is through the roof, along with my self esteem. Formerly skeptical DH now brags on me daily to his co-workers and frequently looks at me and says, "Where did it go?" LOL

I just want to thank everyone here. I don't get to participate much at all (20 month old twins react to the clicking of the keyboard like punchy boxers!), but I've gotten so much support and inspiration from this board, and thanks to all the delicious recipes I've never once felt deprived with this WOE.

I feel so sad to learn that Dr. A is in critical condition as I type this. I pray he recovers fully, and has many more years to continue helping people live happy, healthy lives. Thank you, Dr. Atkins.
