Hiya. IMO, not really, but I'm used to coconut flour flavour and kind of ignore it now. I love almond flour, but I've tried to eliminate it because it seemed to aggravate my arthritis. OTOH, I'm 'burned out' on flax flavour, so I try to use a combination. Some garlic powder and other distracting flavours work for me, too.
I'm another fan of using these as a grilled cheese base, and using a nice sharp extra-old cheddar. Another tip: I like to use parchment paper to line the dish. Saves a scrubbing later.
