90 Second keto bread
I saw this video on YouTube, and thought it sounded a bit odd, so I thought I'd try it out and see what the results were. I was pleasantly surprised. It's reminiscent of a whole grain wheaty kind of bread, not a soft and fluffy white. I'm actually surprised it worked with so few ingredients.
Ingredients: 2 Tbsp of ground almonds 1.5 tsp of ground flaxseed 1 teaspoon of melted butter 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder pinch of salt 1 egg Method: Put it all into a square glass microwaveable dish and mix. Microwave on high for 90 seconds although microwaves differ so you may need a little more or less time. After it cools, slice in half and toast if desired. Found Here |
You'll hear that referred to as a "mug muffin" as well I think around these parts.

I fry mine in butter for crispy toast. And use it in meatloaf recipes.
1 tablespoon coconut flour 1-1/4 tablespoon butter, melted 1 egg 1 teaspoon sour cream 1/4 teaspoon baking powder Ran out of sour cream and used yogurt and it came out just fine. |

That sounds awesome! And I :rheart: the parchment paper idea. I find that I end up scrubbing the container sometimes even after its been through the dishwasher. Great idea :thup:

I start out by melting the butter, then roll it around the sides, then add the dry ingredients. No sticking. But then again, I make one at a time.
