Cool Another Newbie...

Evening,

Am I ever glad I found this site! One or two of my friends have been critical of my adopting the Atkins low-carb lifestyle so it's nice to know there are people out there for support.

I lost 60 lbs. pre Atkins with vigilant exercise and watching what I was eating. The low fat, tasteless food was getting to me though. I hit weight loss plateau and decided to try this to kick start my body into dropping some more lbs.

Just thought I'd introduce myself, say hi.
Tiffany

Hi Tiffany, welcome!

Isn't it great to know that the low fat tasteless food has gone forever? There is so much more you can do with food once you can add some fat. Have you looked through our recipe forums? Loads of good ideas there to keep you inspired.

Have a good look around this great site. The orange bar at the top of the screen is very helpful, especially "Low Carb Tips." You might also check "Hot Links" in the Newbies Questions forum. They are links to former threads where people have had many questions answered.

Happy low carbing!

Rosebud
