Default It's my bday tomorrow and I'm making a change

Hello all. I'm jlynn and I'm an almost 29 (my bday is tomorrow) year old mom to six, and I'm starting my new low carb lifestyle. I'm excited and feel very motivated. I'm experienced with this woe because I tried it a couple years ago. I'm a definite sugar addict and crave and frequently binge on carbs. But no more. I'm gaining control. I also will begin an exercise routine too. I'm grateful for this forum and know I will be helped with all of the support.

Welcome!

Six??? It's all I can handle 2.

You might want to start a journal in the My Journal/Bootcamp section of the forum. It's a great tool.

Default Thank you!

Thanks for all the support. I'm excited to get to know all of you. I'll be starting a journal later today and a gym log. This is an awesome website. I just got back from IHOP and started my low carb birthday off with a ham/cheese omelete. I have about 40 pounds to lose to get back down to my goal. After giving birth 6 times in the past 9 years I've put on quite a lot with each baby and always carry over a few pounds from one to the other. My 10 year anniversary is in 4 months and I want to be down to a size 8 by then. That is what I was when we got married. I feel good and determined to do this. thanks again!

Just so you know IHOP puts pancake batter in thier omelette egg batter

Just keep going and don't let it worry you though.

I don't know how to do all that fancy 'happy birthday' stuff, so I'll just wish you a Happy Birthday!! It's still heartfelt....

I would think cleaning up after and caring for those kids of yours would be enough exercise I know cleaning up after my 3 boys is a full-time job.

Congrats on being so motivated and determined. See you around the forum!

Nicole

ps--I was shocked when I first learned about the pancake batter in the omelets Guess it's to puff them up and stretch the more expensive eggs with cheap batter .
