Yep, supposedly Apil 6th at 11 am, we're meeting uo again at Smokey Bones. Now some of em are trying to switch it to the Smokey Bones up in Salem, NH, so they can go to that foolish bakery up there. I'm not going to Salem, so I'm gonna vote for Nashua.

They are keeping it in Nashua so far, but here's where all the news on it is: http://www.low-carb-friends.com/bbs...&threadid=75491

LBWO today. Felt tired before I worked out. Some kind of bug going around work trying to fight it off, extra glutamine to the rescue! I actually was able to focus and I even did my deadlifts no problem, a little faster than usual. And of course, I feel better now.

110 X 10
120 X 8
130 X 6

HAMSTRINGS
Straight leg deadlift:
100 X 12
110 X 10
120 X 8

Today is cardio. Bleh bleh bleh. Been trying to motivate myself to go do it for oh an hour now My first excuse was I was hungry...so I had half a serving of oatmeal and some coffee...can't have oatmeal without coffee Now I'm goofing off reading forums everywhere. Got a tip for adding incline benchpresses to my work out, someone suggested lowering the weight by approx. 30%. So that would mean starting at 60 lbs to get to 90, 30% less than 130. Gonna give it a try probably next challenge. Ok, off to go do some much hated cardio. Oh well, at least it's only 20 minutes!

I feel sorta yecky today. Been glued to the tv all day and getting a sore throat again, off and on. Kind of want to work out right this instant so I'm gonna go with that urge before it quickly dissipates! I am going to try incline bench presses and flyes today, see how it goes.

CHEST:
Incline BB bench press (this is a new one for me!)
60 X 12
70 X 10
80 X 8
90 X 6
80 X 12
Incline DB flyes (also a new one)
20 X 12

SHOULDERS:
Cable Upright Row
20 X 12
30 X 10
40 X 8
50 X 6
40 X 12
Side Raises
25 X 12

BACK:
Wide grip pulldown
50 X 12
60 X 10
70 X 8
80 X 6
70 X 12
Reverse grip pulldown
60 X 12

TRICEPS:
DB extension
15 X 12
20 X 10
25 X 8
30 X 6
25 X 12
Close grip pushdown
50 X 12

BICEPS:
Standing BB curls
30 X 12
40 X 10
50 X 8
60 X 6
50 X 12
Preacher curls
70 X 12

Well, the incline experiment went both bad and good. Bad because I was not used to the angle and I kept knocking out the pegs where you rest the bar on the squat rack. Trying to get them back in while trying to balance the BB wasn't fun!

But, it was good that I sought advice on starting weights and it turned out it was the perfect weight for me to start with. I completed all of the exercises, and they weren't as hard as I thought they would be. Actually, incline DB flyes wasn't as hard as flat bench DB flyes! It seemed easy almost! My biceps are screaming now from curls though....it hurts to type

Next week at this time I'll be seeing Zwan at the Orpheum Theater with my dad, I'm looking forward to it! I haven't been to a concert ina while now, and never went to one with my dad. I just have to make sure nobody steps on his foot or I'll have to whup ass something fierce.

LBWO yesterday was killer. I for some reason could not do the crunches at 50 lbs. It pissed me off big time. I ended up lowering the weight to finish everything off. Abs hurt today though! Maybe they really tuly exist under that blubber somewheres Hammies and butt hurt today too. But, it's a good hurt.

Supposed to do yecky cardio today. hate it hate it hate it. I need to do look up again WHY I have to do it. I really don't like it. My dad says he's gonna put a tv in there so I can watch animal planet and I won't dread cardio so much. Worth a try.

1-5: 3.5 mph walk w/gradual incline increase of 2 each minute
6: 6 mph wind sprint
7-9: 3.5 mph walk w/gradual incline increase of 2 each minute
10: 6 mph wind sprint
11-13: 3.5 mph walk w/gradual incline increase of 2 each minute
14: 6 mph wind sprint
15-18: 3.5 mph walk w/gradual incline increase of 2 each minute
19: 7 mph wind sprint
20-21: 2-3 mph cool down

Looking forward to more incline benchpresses tomorrow, I think I may try and do:

Incline BB bench press
60 X 12
70 X 10
80 X 8
90 X 6
80 X 12
Incline DB flyes
20 X 12

THEN do

BB bench press
100 X 12
110 X 10
120 X 8
130 X 6
120 X 12
DB flyes
20 X 12

SHOULDERS:
Cable Upright Row
20 X 12
30 X 10
40 X 8
50 X 6
40 X 12
Side Raises
25 X 12

BACK:
Wide grip pulldown
50 X 12
60 X 10
70 X 8
80 X 6
70 X 12
Reverse grip pulldown
60 X 12

TRICEPS:
DB extension
15 X 12
20 X 10
25 X 8
30 X 6
25 X 12
Close grip pushdown
50 X 12

BICEPS:
Standing BB curls
30 X 12
40 X 10
50 X 8
60 X 6
50 X 12
Preacher curls
70 X 12

Then proceed as usual for the rest if I can. Think I can pull it off??? I need to get a curl bar.......I need a new barbell tooooo......I wish my birthday was soon! Or if I could hit on a damn scratch ticket! Yeah that would do it.....

Yay, Animal Planet!

I really, REALLY need to make a good cardio selection of songs, myself. Why do we hate it so much? Whenever I do it I feel like I'm in such terrible shape! Bizarre too, because I can't be that out of shape, now can I? The thing about HIIT is that if you're not panting and moaning then you're really not doing it right and hitting those 9's and 10's now are you?

BLEH!

I'll keep you posted on how my after carb-up workout went. Planning to bolster my weights and see if I can do it!

Oh I hit 11's! Fark the 10's! Yeah, I did 7 mph windsprints, not 6! Hammies still hurt, cardio didn't help there. May the pump be with you angela! Good luck upping your weights!

Bring out yer dead! :clank: bring out yer dead! :clank: I WANT to go on the cart!....I have a very dry sense of humor I guess hehe...I had THE most intense workout YET! I did everything on that list I posted yesterday. I have never been so tired from working out. A few times I thought I was gonna drop the bb/db on my head, but I did it all.

Hey Skamito Actually, I had my sister spot for me. I just told her to pop the pegs back in for me if the barbell popped em out. It did once, so glad she was there, it's pain to fix it myself and it screws up my workout quite a bit. I need to drill some holes in the metal pegs and make it so they can't come out. The worst is when it happens when doing squats.

Today I have to do LBWO because I will never get to it tomorrow. I'm going to see Zwan tomorrow night. And I know if I post pone LBWO to friday, it won't happen cause I'll be tired. So, I am going to do it now even though I don't want to and I'm really tired.

QUADS
BB squats:
100 X 12
110 X 10
120 X 8
130 X 6

Talking C1 FINISHED!

I blew off cardio today. What a surprise! I am too tired from concert. Need toothpicks to hold my eyes open. Anyways, whole challenge I think I missed 2 cardio sessions. Bleh. I talked to Nat in the chat room and she advised that I do nothing-no exercise-for a week. I was planning to do cardio. But she knows more than I do and I am going to take her advice! Oh twist my arm...we all know I loathe cardio anyways. Now the thing is to stay away from my weights. They say "play with me!!! You know you want to!" Evil things. Gonna start loading creatine Monday. I already feel deprived from lifting.
