Default no sugar cheesecake...whip cream, eggs, and slenda

I am three weeks into Atkins and have wonderful weight loss. I lost 14 pounds the first 2 weeks, and will weigh in again Tuesday. I have been to the max on the ketosis strip, which is a good thing. Today, my sister, which is also on atkins, made a cheesecake for dessert, I had a small piece, probably around 2.5 carbs...I feel really guilty for eatting this, I have been completely dessert free up until today. Can this cause me to not lose or to not stay into ketosis. Thanks.
Penny

Hi Penny,

Congratulations on your loss so far! You are doing great!

Forget feeling guilty...at only 2.5 carbs, that cheesecake sounds fine, as long as your overall carbs for the day are in line. BTW how about posting the recipe in the recipe section here?

Penny, now that you're getting more comfortable eating this way, you should allow yourself some liberty to enjoy a good LC dessert every once in a while! Congratulations on not having dessert yet, but it's quite possible that Splenda won't trigger cravings for you and you will be fine.

Mmm... I should make another cheesecake soon.

Congrats to you on such a great loss in so few days!! YIPPEE! Isn't this the best diet??!

Ease up. 2.5 is nothing. Once you figure how much you can eat and still lose you can enjoy all kinds of goodies as long as you don't go overboard.
