I had to post this, Today I went grocery shopping and I spent a good 20 minutes in the veggie aisle (Hard to believe I used to skip this part ), snatch up my Atkins bars then I hit the meat aisle, I skipped down a few others to get the condiments. And the last aisle is the heavy cream, yogurt, and butter. (I don't eat cheese). So if you look at my cart at checkout you would see half of it is veggies, a fourth is meat and the rest makes the last fourth. So here I am with food going across the scanner, I glanced at the clerk, to remind her of my meat coupons. She had this puzzled look on her face. I said "Atkins Diet" She still looked puzzled "You eat veggies?!" she asked. I just had to laugh.
For you see, a year before low carbing I thought the same thing!



Ps I did explain to the girl that Atkins is low carb not high protein.
