Talking Newbie

Hello:
How is everyone doing. Well this is week one for me on Atkins, and I lost 8lbs the first week, I'm very proud of myself. I had one week moment on yesterday where I had 4 mini Snickers which came to about 22 carbs, not good at all . But other then that it's a pretty easy diet to follow.

Those snickers are hard to resist! (but next time you will!)

Congrats on your weight loss and welcome!

Thanks alot. Well yesterday I did have 1 of those mini snickers, so today I'm shooting for having none. So much for my will power. But other then that my appetite really has decreased alot.

Ahhh, the snickers are hard to put down for sure. Although it should be in moderation, if you have to cheat, try a Atkins endulge carmel nouget bar, very snickerish and still better carb wise by far. Keep the faith, it'll get easier, promise.

Kindest Regards,

Post Hello

Welcome and I understand the cheating. WE all have done it at one point or another. Once a month I find myself cheating! But the main thing is to stay in control and jump right back on the wagon. You can do it!

Thanks for the encouragement I really do need it. And yes I'm going to just get back on the ban wagon and start eating right again. I did ride my excerise bike for 40 min. on Tuesday night though.
