I have a disagreement with the whole 8 glasses of water thing. As you begin to mobilize all the glycogen out of your body and enter ketosis, you increase renal blood flow as a ton of extra-cellular water starts to move into the bloodstream and ketone bodies dilate renal arterioles. You pee a ton. If you dring too much water, which you dont' actually needs since there is a ton in the veggies and you are mobilizing your own; then you are in the bathroom every 30 minutes (even as a young male). Finally, you can't track with keto-strips that give that awesome rush of yes, I have entered weight loss!
