I bought some once. I love pork rines, but I thought that the microwave kind were the most horrible thing I've ever eaten. As a matter of fact I wouldn't be supprised to see them as the food challenge on the next Fear Factor.

Just my opinion.

Lisa,

Try them thrice, third time is the charm?

Seriously, speaking of pork rinds, anyone ever try fresh fire roasted pork with the skin? In my view, thats how pork rinds should be enjoyed.

I'm munching some regular ones right now. They are good but last week I got some at a Mexican market. They are the best. Fresh crisp and porky. Mmmmm.
Never tried the microwave ones but I think I'll pass.

Hiya Gonna!!

I tried them. They seem lighter than regular pork rinds. I didn't think they were horrendous but not better than the packaged ones.

I was sort of freaked by the way they kept sizzling after you take them out go to bite into one. Like pop rocks.

Default Microwave Pork Rinds! Ole!!

I love 'em!

One of my staples for snacks in the car, or just when the munchies hit in the evening before dinner, or whenever there is a craving that needs to be satisfied.

I like the microwave variety (Rudolph's) much better than the regular packaged ones in the potato chip aisle, and get one regular pak and one Hot & Spicy pak, each month.

They are not as good as genuine, fresh Chicharrones in a Mexican cafe, but they are very nice for an instant treat, IMHO.

I like the crackling, the lightness, and the fact that they are much less salty and fatty than the cold varities, but they still stifle my cravings, usually with only half a bag, less than 1 oz of pork rind.

Anyone who doesn't want to use their supply on hand, please forward them to me! heh

Keep on, keepn' on!
