Default Radish home fries are a go! :)

I made the radish home fries that I saw on YouTube and had a cheese Omelet and sausage with it....it was very good.

Here is the video and below is the result (I let the green peppers burn through inattention but it was still very good)

Mmmmmm, nice pic

I'll check that video later, when I'm on a faster connection.

For anyone who's interested, there's an old thread in our Breakfast recipe section for radish homefries / hashbrowns . Check it out .. HomeFries / Hash Browns. Lots of great ideas to be found there

I've made these often, using red radishes, daikon (oriental white radish), turnips (the small white and purple variety), and even zucchini. All good. In the linked thread, there's a suggestion from r.mines to add a small handful of crushed pork rinds near the end of cooking, which gives a nice crispy crunchy "je ne sais quoi" that's so yummy

Wow- great idea on the pork rinds. I'll bet that really makes them delish!

Oooo. I make radish hash browns inspired by that old thread from long ago but I never tuned in to the pork rind variation. I've got to try that.

Sometimes I vary the recipe by making them into hash: roast beef hash, corned beef hash, turkey hash ... whatever meat I have on hand.
