Default Chromium Picolinate & Chromium GTF

Hi everyone! I want to get some Chromium Picolinate but all I see at GNC is Chromium GTF. I read the thread about chromium but is there a difference between Chromium Picolinate & Chromium GTF?

Help please!

Hi - Nutrition House sells CP as well as Pharma Plus and Shoppers in Toronto. I don't know if there is a difference between the two but I stick to Chromium P.

It's actually illegal to sell Chromium Picolonate in Canada. Some places do it, but you have to ask as they keep it behind the counter. Apparently some places are doing it openly.

I bought mine in the States. As long as you only bring a small amount, it's ok.

Actually, in Carbohydrate Addicts they recommend GTF Chromium instead of picolinate.... I assume because it's better absorbed. My book is out on loan, or I'd look it up for you. I take GTF.

Thanks Teri...please let me know. I got chromium picolinate at a health food store today but if the GTF is better I will get it next time.

By the way, I love that Mother Theresa quote.
