Hi,

I started Atkins a couple of weeks ago (Yep...I need to go to the intro board, I will I promise!!).

I live in Hong Kong and can't buy any Atkins products here. The mail order option may be my only one but is VERY expensive.

My husband went to San Fran a couple of days ago and I sent him to Real Foods which was supposed to be an "Atkins care" shop but they don't stock ANY products. DH is going to Torrance, CA at the end of March. I did a search on the Atkins site for local suppliers and nothing came up.

Does anyone live in that area or knows a shop that stocks Atkins products? Really I would love the Bake Mix and maybe some muffin mixes and advantage bars but it would be nice to taste them in small quantities before I spend a fortune on a mega shipment (to justify the cost) in case they taste revolting.

Tell him to find a GNC, general nutrition center- they stock some atkins products, varying which products from store to store. Wal-Marts also carry some products- they're usually located in or around the pharmacy. Many health food stores now carry some, and even some grocery stores. Sorry I can't be of more help I lived in LA for a while but it was before I started Atkins. Hope this helps a little anyhow. Good luck with your hunt.

I forgot to mention you can find the closest GNC to your husband at their website- addresses & phone #'s, so he can call before going to avoid another wasted trip http://www.gnc.com . I really like the chocolate peanut butter advantage bars and the muffin mixes aren't bad once you smother them with butter. If you end up making muffins keep them in the fridge or freezer so they won't spoil so quickly.
