Default Anorex???????????

Do any of you get an ad on you screen for a diet drug called ANOREX . EXCUSE ME, but what kind of freakin idiot would name a diet drug that! Of all things. I've never clicked on it, justed deleted it. What a scam and poor taste to boot! Just wondered if any one else sees the ad. Usually pops up when I am on atkins site. Ellen

Default havent seen it.

..but I agree VERY poor taste!!! You'd think there would be some type of checks and balances out there, what moron would let a name like that pass. Obviously one with moron backup. Sheesh.

Upside..Im sure they will get more hate mail than sales.

This is a diet drug and not one to actually help anorexics, right?
Even if the latter, what a degrading product name.

Default pop up stoppers

Go to www.panicware.com and download their free version popup stopper. It works and you don't get all the pop ups on web sites you visit. I hate those things.

Keep in mind that Anorexia is simply a medical term for "lack of appetite", so I can see where they might have come up with that for a diet drug name, especially one that has the mechanism of action of depressing the appetite.
People have come to associate this medical term with the medical condition of Anorexia Nervosa and it's commonly referred to simply as Anorexia.
But I have to agree that given the common association with the term in society today, it's a poor choice of a name for a diet aid.
