my 2 cents...
I understand about wanting to get the weight off faster. I have had thoughts like that about how much weight I might have lost over the same amount of time, with WW or some other diet. Only one problem.. I NEVER would have stuck to it this long. And, if by chance I had... I would be so miserable right now. Missing all my favourite foods, instead of being able to enjoy them all. (And I do, just check my journal if you don't believe me!) I have been on CAD for 24 weeks and have lost about 52 lbs.. so a little better than 2 lbs a week. Not earth shattering, but steady and I am so happy with that. I don't crave food between meals, or carbs at times other than my reward meal.. that freedom is just as important to me as the weight loss, since food was always the primary focus of my life before CAD, whether I was eating massive quantities, or doing massive obsessing about the food my current diet wouldn't allow me to have.
I think it is important to focus on more than just the speed of weight loss. Think about how you feel on this plan, you will know if it is right for you or not. And imagine yourself still following it a year from now, 2 years.. can you really imagine doing that with other diets?
