What are you going to do right now? You are going to stop feeling sorry for yourself and climb back on the lowcarb wagon.
This is what works for me when I feel like I am going to fall off the lowcarb wagon and start eating junk because of pressures in my life:
I tell myself that I am going to wait an hour and if I still want whatever I am craving in an hour I will be allowed to have a reasonable size portion of it. Anyone can wait an hour. Next I have a large glass of water -- I have found that sometimes helps with cravings. Then I go do something that makes me feel good physically -- taking a walk is best, but a shower or bath is also okay. I have found that by the time the hour is up, the cravings are usually gone. If not, they are at least usually manageable, making it possible to have ONE cookie or a small bite of something else.
The other thing is to allow yourself some lowcarb treats. My favorite is strawberries with whipped cream. After all those years of trying to stick to lowfat diets, it is wonderful to be allowed to eat whipped cream again. If you check the recipes section of this forum, there are lots of recipes for lowcarb desserts.
My daughter made a batch of brownies yesterday, and my husband and son are gone for the weekend, which means that it is just the two of us in the house. If the boys were here, the brownies would be gone by now, but they are still sitting on the kitchen counter. If I can resist those brownies, you can resist whatever is in your house! I keep reminding myself how good it feels to be in pants three sizes smaller than the pants I was wearing last July. That's a lot better than the few minutes of pleasure I would get from eating those brownies.
