ALA does work
I have been in ketosis for 6 days now so my girlfriend wanted to have a good supper with dessert and all, i said why not, i mean i can affort a small carb-up of 2 hours.
I took 3g of ALA before and one Thermogenic fatburning pill, i use CHARGE from lee Labrada, good stuff.
So i start with a bagel sandwish, i added some mayo for my fat, then i ate 2 pastry, i guess that i must have eaten around 1200 calories, before this small carb-up i tested to see how deep in ketosis i was, i was deep purple.
After the meal again i took another 3g of ALA, i didnt want to kick out to much of ketosis, right now i can train hard because of my lower back injury.
After that might have been around 8pm, i added 2 cups of green tea and water.
I tested again at 11pm and i was still in ketosis, in fact to my surprise i was moderate.
Tomorrow i will hit the pool at 6am and test again, i dont really think i am gonna carb-up til next week, my weightloss has been very slow due to my lack of training.
