Way to lose weight everyone!!

I am so happy that I am back to losing weight! 39 pounds off me and in new clothes 61 more to go and then I will see how I feel!

I think the knee lifts and doing more exercise and adding water and only having diet coke out as a treat have really made the difference

I'm at 284 this morning. I started the Eades' Pentabosol a couple days ago, I hope it will help.

Thanks for the welcome, Juanita.

I visited your journal, and saw you were thinking about doing IF. Have you started yet? I read quite a bit in another thread, and was interested, since it would suit my schedule quite nicely.

I saw that you use coconut in your morning coffee...does that rev up your metabolism, as if you had eaten a regular breakfast??

Thanks,
Loretta
=^..^=

PS: oh yes, this is Monday...weigh in day. It's only been a couple of days since my start weight of 385, but I might as well stay on schedule for weigh-ins. So today's weight is: 384, for a loss of 1 lb since I joined this challenge.

Hey Rettakat,
I haven't started the IF officially yet. I was on a candida cleanse routine that required me to eat 3 meals per day so I could take all the supplements required. I did do a few days where I kept moving breakfast back further everyday and yes the coconut oil did help tremendously. It gives you a fabulous level of energy and brightness of mind. I started my son on it since he's been home on vacation and in 3 weeks he has lost 13 pounds. I had always read that coconut oil helps people lose weight but it never worked for me. Apparently it is working great for him. A good place to read about IF is in Black 57's journal. She's great. She does so much research about the various aspects of lowcarbing. Also, I believe Valtor is doing IF right now. I do want to do IF eventually, but right now I'm trying to get something that will get me started losing.

You seem to be doing well with your weight loss. It is so encouraging to me be in this challenge with lots of other folks who are looking at similar challenges in their lives. I just read the thread for people who have already lost 100 pounds or more and it is sooooo encouraging. As my son always says, "What one man can do, another man can do." (Or woman in this case.) We just have to hang in there.

Hello All,

I just realized I could share out the editing capabilities of the spreadsheet with everyone. I'm still happy to edit for you if your not comportable, but here's the link for those who want to.

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...iE8psbgen62MoPA

All you need to do is update the amount in the current weight column, then it'll compute the loss and save automatically.

For those just wanting to view the link is
http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?...iE8psbgen62MoPA

I'll be on vacation starting next Monday for a couple weeks, although second week will have computer access so may check in.

Hoosierguy your doing a great job keep it up.

I have a question I have been reading the other forums and I read one about the meat and egg fast. Is this safe? Should I try it? Have any of you done the meat and egg before?

Ok more then one question, also I really like eating hot dogs in the morning along with a diet coke. also a polish sausage link is this bad doing the adkins? If anyone can tell me that would be great. I have not lost any more but it seem like I'm going up and down three lbs. I have increased my water and have seen inches come off but frustrated to see the three going up.

I hear ya man ... WAY to GO !!!!!!
Slow loss is better than no loss.
It took me a long time to gain all this weight, so it's going to take a while to come off. I think the body does have "weight points" it remembers and getting past those places is VERY Hard, but with time and persistance .... WE CAN DO IT!!!!!
