Hiya Bessy,

I think it's totally a matter of personal taste and lifestyle. I don't believe it's a matter of one being "better" than the other.

There are probably fewer folk doing Sugar Busters than Atkins, but I think that that is mainly a matter of publicity.

If you go to our Sugar Busters section (under "Other low carb plans" in Daily Low Carb Support), you'll find we have quite a few members who are doing very well with Sugar Busters.

All the best to you, whichever plan you choose.

Rosebud

My wife has tried and failed on the Adkins diet several times and blames it on the fact that she hates fatty meat diets. So she read Sugar Buster's and has decided to follow it's eating plans instead. She is following the plan very well except I have convinced here that she might want to not have the whole grain breads, cereals, and rice while she is trying to meet here goal weight.

So basically she is on the Adkins WOE without going through induction, and doesn't really even realize it. I'm not sure about here weight loss because I think she looks good the way she is.
