Default Fruit

I had been dying for some fruit so I had a grapefruit (one of the lower carb foods accorindg to the carb counter in orange bar) can anyone give me some suggestions so I can avoid another mid day trip to the produce isle, or is an occasional piece of fruit ok? Fruit is the biggest thing I miss (even more than B&J's)

Berries are your best best, then melon. If you're past induction you can add some back in. Fruit is what many people add first.

Hi Holly,

Fruit was the only thing I craved during induction, too. I held out until the latter part of the first week and then had a few strawberries with cream (heaven!). I still lost 8 lbs in the first 10 days, so if it really bothers you, go fot it--just don't go overboard.
And, like Catspay says, stay with berries or melons or canteloupe.

Hi Holly,

Fruit is the biggest thing I have missed since starting as well, I haven't given in yet as I'm staying close to induction levels.

sometimes I feel my body is craving the Vitamin C - it is so hard. I love berries but I think my body wants oranges which is a big no no.

Good luck and I think I'll get some strawberries next time I go to the store.
