Default 172 Pounds - 7 to go!

A little update -

Everything is going good, and I am at the 71 Pounds loss mark - everything is seeming to go steadily, and I am sure it will continue to go that way in these last 7 pounds. I am starting my exercise plan that I designated for this moment in time tomorrow, and will keep everyone posted on my progress.

Thanks,
Mateo J

Way to go, Mateo! Wow, you look fabulous and your before and after photo is amazing. Doesn't look like the same young man! You must be very proud of yourself... and your Mom. I'm not surprised your peers and teachers all have praised your accomplishment. Kudos!

Default 1 Pound to go!

Oh my goodness!

The day I hit my goal of 165 pounds is just within reach... I am currently at 166 and anticipate hitting that goal by my fifth-month anniversary of being on this diet - November 21st, 2002. From then, it is a point of reflection to me - One I will share with all of you as I look back on what I have done so far and where I am to go from here.

As part of this anniversary, I will be posting before/after photos for you.

-Mateo

Default Goal Reached!

Fellow Low Carbers -

I just wanted to announce that today, November 21st, 2002, five months after I started a low carb lifestyle, I have hit my goal. This was, by little means, a stopping point for me. Rather, it was a reference point, a milestone that I will use to see what lies ahead. I am currently contemplating the future - what goals I would like to set, and how I will attain them. Meanwhile, I shall keep them posted on my web site and post here - if my updates don't get annoying to people .

CONGRATULATIONS, Mateo!!!

That really is the best news. You must be so proud. I know we are proud of you, too!

Just think of how many people will be inspired by your dedication and success. It's not eften we here from young people here.

Congratulations Bud!

Just REMEMBER! Don't
go back to old eating habits
when you finish your weightloss
phase. I have been there and done
that about 10 times in my life.

End the pain and misery now. Just
stay with this Way of Eating for Life!

Best always,
