Unhappy Please help !!

I have been LC'ing for 2 mos now and I will do real good during the week and blow it on the weekends , not to mention the holidays so I can't tell you how many times I have lost the same 5 lbs over and over....My questions is what about all the days I was good cumlatively..that must be better than nothing right?

I lost inches in Dec. when I was measured at Curves and I havent measured yet this month but I did check my body fat and it was down 1%...soooo what's going on in my body exactly?

Something must be going on even though I am not in ketosis all the time and the scale doesnt show it...I do understand that the first bit of weight is all water weight therefore the 5 lbs that I gain when I fall off the wagon...

I have started taking glutamine for cravings to help keep me on track..

You've been around here long enough to know what's going on. Do you just want confirmation? Shout, "Woo hoo!" a couple of time and pat yourself on the back. In spite of no weight loss, you are losing inches and body fat. The diet is working for you. Yay! Congratulations! Yes, your cumulative effort is making a difference.

I know that this WOE works for me but since the holidays I have been so lax and am half way off the wagon so to speak..so other than 5lbs of water weight from "cheating" ..I wonder what the yo-yo effect is having...I am going to try and re focus myself...I know carbs and sugar are bad and I always feel like a failure when I have been off track but I am a true addict !!

You are succeeding more often than you fail. It's a way of life, not a race. Hang in there!
