Default I made it through the first day

ok, I finally made it through the first day back on low carb. Tomorrow should be easier.

Whew. Up to 160 this morning. Someone said I need to be "ready" to go back. Well I'm ready. I have to be unless I want to ruin all my hard work the last 5 months.

Rachel,
Congrats. Yes it does get easier.

I agree, yes you got to set you mind to it. I'm on my 3rd week & I'm determined to succeed.

Good luck.

I've learned from experience successful dieting is 90% mindset and 10% dieting. When I saw 134 on my scale last week I was 'ready'...ready to faint.

Yay for making it thru. Hope you are feeling well.

Made it through day 2 also. Not really perfect induction but pretty close. Right now I'm avoiding caffeine, chocolate, and eggs, but eating some dairy. After one day of low carb I'm already back to 158, so it looks like I gained about 3 real pounds. That's ok, I'll get them off.

Rachel,
Well 3 pounds is better then gaining 1/2 the weight back. You'll lose it in no time I'm sure.

Stick with, if go back then you be back at the weight you were before. I've learned my lesson too.

Good work! You are smart to set your tripwire at just a few pounds of gain. There are too many of us who just woke up one day 100+ pounds too heavy.
