Question Day 1

Today is my first day on CALP.
But I had to alternate what I ate due to having the stomach/intestine flue this past weekend. On a good note, I was surprised to see I weighted 294 when a week ago I was 301. The bad note is my stomach is very sensitive.

I had a half an Atkins strawberry shake, which I sipped slowly.
2 carbs
No cravings.
For lunch I heated up some Chicken broth and had maybe 7 Macadamia nuts (to add calories and fat to my diet). 2 carbs
For dinner I'm planning a mild dinner with carbs (potatoes).

I hope this is ok for day one. Remember I can't eat wheat or eggs.
Thanks
Any imput would be great.

Looks good to me so far, Lassara! I hope you're feeling better soon!

Also, just a warning that nuts stalled my weight loss. It may not do the same for you, but just keep an eye out.

Good luck!

You've got day 1 down really well. Just keep taking it one day at a time.

Hope you feel better soon and congratulations on the loss.

Kassie,

Neither the shake nor the nuts are approved for cm's, if you are attempting to follow CALP to the letter. They are low-carb, but if you are really trying to do CALP then they aren't really in the plan. I don't mean to be critical, and it may work great for you - but if it isn't exactly working then you might want to review the approved CM's list.

How are you doing since the first day?

Lila
