Default New Year New You?!

Ok. How many of you have made a News years resolution? I am making one. TO remember what is was like last year to be relatively thin for the first time since 1990! Only to blow it in a few months. I hope to remember this so that I don't make the same stupid mistake again. This WOL takes some time...but it is well worth it.

Today is my first good day back on Low carb...I slept till 11:00. (That is ok on New years you might say, too bad I didn't stay awake until midnight!) And now I am ready for a nap. After all I have only been up for 2 1/2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so ready to do this...Why did I let myself go for those three months!? Live and learn! Karen

Karen, good for you getting back on track. It's a brand new year, and good things are in store.

Yes, I have resolutions, or rather affirmations:

This will be the year that I will see 150 pounds on the scale. This will be the first time since high school that I can remember. I lived all of my 20's as an obese young woman who missed out on so much life. I spent the first part of my 30's that way, and finally decided to take some control.

I am now about 170 on the nose, and have gone down at least 5 sizes. This year I will get FIT as well as smaller.

I also want to work on my spirit...to learn how to be independent, no co-dependent. This past crisis of the past two months has stopped me in my tracks and has made me realize that I have great work to do on myself. (my journal has the nasty details...)

So...here we go!! Onward, upward...Good luck to you and God bless...

I have some resolutions too...

This will be the year I get to my goal weight.
This will be the year I will learn to eat without guilt.
This will be the year I tone my body so that I actually like my body.
This will be the year that I learn to live with the choice I have made and grow in a positive way from them.

Default me too!

great resolutions!

although i have decided that i dont know if i will EVER be happy at any given weight. last christmas i weighed 148 and was bummed. this year at 162 i am ticked off majorly!!!!!!!

hindsight is 20/20!!!!! happier and healthier this year. but also the perspective that 5 years ago i tipped the scales at 208.

onward and downward we go!
