Default New Year's Resolutions

I'll bet I am not the only one in the Triple Digits Club who has been thinking about this. Surely, I am not the only one nerdy enough to do them!

1. I plan to be at my goal weight January, 2004. It will mean a lot of hard work with little deviation - But I think I am up for it.

2. To write something on the forum each day, even if it is just to cheer up a newbie, or make a quick comment. The support and information are an important part of my success thus far.

3. I work for myself, so I want to focus on marketing my services more. And do more temp work so that I don't get too focused on myself or bored.

4. To get out more socially and get involved in more community activities. I am new to this City, and I have to be totally honest and ADMIT that my weight has kept me from getting out and trying the things I want to. With the 37 pounds I have lost, it is better though!

5. To do a major house cleaning activity each week.

6. Be better about remembering my family and friend's birthdays and send cards and stuff. I have never been great at this and I am not proud of it.

Looking forward to spending 2003 with the great people in this forum! Cindi

HEY CINDI,

I'll take that challenge!!

1. I too will be at goal by January 1, 2004!

2. I will eat on plan trying to avoid things and places that tend to draw me off course!

3. I will begin to exercise...walking is my choice to start! I have a treadmill, so there is no excuse for not being able to do it!

4. AND MOST OF ALL??? I will continue to do this FOR ME and no one else!

My New Years Resolution is to stay on track until I reach my ideal weight regardless of how long it takes. And if I happen to slip from time to time, to pick myself up and get back to lowcarbing immediately.

My New Year's resolutions are (in no particular order):

1. To focus on this woe and getting healthy, and not think about how long it will take me to reach my goal.

2. To continue exercising regularly (4 to 6 days a week).

3. To be more patient with my children, parents, and in-laws.

4. To refrain from judging other people and from giving unsolicited advice.

5. To enjoy my life as I am living it and not focus on the next thing I have to do or next goal I have to meet. (This goes along with goal #1, but is more general. I need to do this in all aspects of my life, not just with regard to eating.)
