Question The Four Carbs Rule

Hi,

I'm very new to CAD, planning on starting this weekend, but I want to get all my p's and q's in order as far as knowing this backwards and forwards.

So here's my question: they say that during CMs, not to eat items that have more than 4 carbs in them. Should your entire meal be under 4 carbs? How does this work?

Thanks in advance,
Emily

Hey, Emily
I'm originally from Boston! This 4 carb rule is for things like salad dressings and additions such as whey powder and soy flour. These things should be limited to no more that 4-8 carbs per CM. Otherwise you just go by the food list of what's allowed at CM.

Good Luck!

My take on this is that LC or CM foods are defined as those that have no more than 4 g carb / serving. I don't try to keep my total carb count at CM not more than 4 g.
