Default Drinking while in ketosis

I am a Sr. in collge. I am proud to say I have not drank yet this qtr.
It is mainly cuz I am paranoid about gaining any weight at all.
I have gotten so much crap for not drinking.....I use to drink all the time. So my question is: I will be drinking tomarrow cause I do not have school the rest of the week and because I havent drank yet this qtr... If i drink light beer and/or hard A.....would I get knocked out of ketosis right away? Will I even get knocked out of ketosis at all?

Thanks

From what I've read, assuming what you drink has no carbs...like whiskey or tequila or maybe a few Michelob Ultra low carb beers then the only downside is that your body will replace ketones with alchohol and you will stop burning fat. That AND....I was in the situation so I decided to go out after my friends busted my chops for weeks, just for one night someones little sisters 21st bday. I went out expectin to drink a lil, I drank a lot. ANd aside from actually drinking up all those calories and f***ing with the ketone thing....the next day I was so beat I had to push the depletion workout off a day. Oh and just fat and protien isn't the best cure for a hangover...it hurt a lot

The other thing to watch for is that LC will *totally* hamstring your alcohol tolerance. Half a glass of wine makes my head spin, and a whole glass makes me walk funny.

Good luck!

/agree with the low tolerance

I started LC in September. I’m not a heavy drinker, beer only, never during the week but can hang with the crowd on long Friday night/Saturday’s. We have a weekend party every August and I easily had a case over two days. A week after I started two beers would make me loopy, five I felt like lying down.

So be careful.
