Cool POLL: How many carbs are you eating daily and losing?

Just curious as to how many carbs everyone is eating per day and losing? I need to be around 25.

Yvonne, everyone is going to be a little different - and not just different from individual to individual but different from time period to time period for them. I have lost with <20g a day and hit a period where I needed 60g a day. I eat carbs today that would have caused me to gain a year ago, it's all about keeping up with what the body needs when it needs it.

Nat

True, but I was wondering for those who participate on this board what their average carbs are "at this time" ... I know each of us are different and this is just a curiosity average.

I enjoy between 30 to 100 carbs a day. Depending totally on *if* it's a lift day or not . Cardio days are lower carbohydrate days.

As Nat says it really depends on the person's metabolism, exercise level, age, and a bunch of other "stuff".

I want to stay in the induction "area" until i'm down to a comfortable size 10 - then the next phase until maintenance.

I keep my carbs (other then the induction allowed veggies) under 15 and then all the veggies I want - usually I stay in the 3 cup range but I think that if I go over my carbs with veggies, i'm not doing that bad. I still keep under 4 oz of cheese too.
