Is it goofy to want to go on steroids, so I could stand to stay on LC, so I could lose wt?

I have a tendency towards low blood pressure, low sodium, low potassium, dehydration. I've passed out dozens of times. LC makes it 10x worse.

I know...... I just get so impatient with this semi lowcarb stuff. I'm seeing the endo on wed so I figured I'd ask him. I swear I know where every bathroom in denver is.

Fludrocortisone (Florinef) is used to treat Addison's Disease. According to the PDR, low oral doses have a marked effect on sodium retention, thereby raising blood pressure. At high oral doses, it has the typical effects of steriod use: adrenocortical, thymic and pituitary suppression. Also hepatic gluconeogenesis.

thanks kaypeeoh thats the type of information I was looking for. I read it is used in some mvp cases for orthostatic hypotension. I seem to get low blood sugar from my liver underperforming I don't have high insulin. That might make it a good deal for me.

If it is prescribed, keep in mind your weight will increase, but because of sodium causing fluid retention and not because of making more fat.
