Smile Yeehaw!

Hi people, I told myself I wasn't going to weight myself until Tuesday, but I was too tempted, so while at the gym before my workout I stepped on and saw that I lost about 9.5 pounds since Tuesday. I am rounding it down to 9, just to be on the safe side.

I think that's all. Yesterday I didn't go to the gym and it felt like I ate a lot, only because I wasn't hungry. I was almost sure I was going to gain weight. (paranoia) I'm happy that results are startin to happen, atleast now I can relax and not be so worried that it won't work for me. Anyway, have a great day.

Thanks. I feel like I have a bit of control over my life.. Now if I can only learn to levitate myself high into the air and stare down at God's creation with disdain, I'll be set. Just kidding.

I thought I'd just mention this for no reason at all, but last month I was working full time at McCormick's, the candy division. I used to see millions and millions of candy and chocolate stuff a day, and we were allowed to eat it.. Good thing I don't work there anymore, there would be so much temptation it would drive me insane. The only good thing about working there was the ease of the job, but it was real mind numbing.. So I ended up spending most of my time singings songs real loud, I even serenaded people. Good times.

Anyway, thanks for your kind words.

Brian

Thumbs up It gets better

Excellent news about the 9lb loss...

...and your art is really interesting as well!

And as cool as that 9lb loss is (and it really is) it's going to get even better for you. Stick to and refine your program further and before you know it, you'll be down 25lbs and so on...

Healthy LCing!

Donald

Thanks for the words of encouragement Donald, and for visiting my lame website.
As much as I like everyone here (as much as you can like strangers; similar goals kind of bring us together though), you're one of my favorites. I've gone through your journal from start to finish and it inspires me a lot. You and others of course, but you stuck out the most, I think it's because of your dogs. I like animals, dogs and cats. I kind of lean towards the Cat Train a little more though, only because I've been brought up with a cat (who is still alive today), over 18 human years old.

I find it so tempting to weight myself when I am at the gym, but I am worried if I go on scale and see no difference I'd get a little down and the intensity as well as my motivation to continue would be comprised.. So I think if I have to weight myself, I'll do it every 5 days. 5 is my second favorite number, my first is 23. (my birthday)

Anyway I am rambling as per usual, just wanted to say thanks and keep up the good work. Take care.

Brian
