Question Unimportant curious nutritional question

I would like to know the proper way to record your food/water/medication intake.

For example, I started a part time job at night and I find myself hungry and/or thirsty after midnight sometimes. Since many days I haven't had much of anything since lunch, I usually have something when I get home. I usually would stop eating by 8pm when not working an additional job.

Do you record food and/or water as the next day's intake if it is after midnight OR do you start recording the next day's intake when you wake up (whatever time that may be).

Thank you,
Julie

Curious question, indeed! I never thought about it until now, Julie. I consider the 'day' to be from when I wake up until when I tuck myself in at night. The food I eat falls into the count for that day.

The only time this changes is when I am following a CKD and must eat a certain amount of carbs w/in a certain period of hours.

HTH

Wink Thank you

Just the person I was looking for!

Thanks, Nat. I usually record everything up until I go to sleep, but for some reason, after eating late at night, my mind thinks up some crazy questions (among other things!). LOL
