No change for me. But it is the week before Christmas and I did not gain so this is actually good news. If I can stay where I am over the holidays I won't be complaining.
OzzyBabe - I have been to Ireland to visit relatives twice when I was small, last time maybe 35 years ago. My daughter is doing a university exchange - she will be attending UCD in Dublin for about 6 months so of course Mom has to go visit!!! I'll be there for St. Patrick's Day.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Okay, I'm guessing this question has been asked a thousand times, and I have searched the forum but can't find the answer. I went to tickerfactory and made myself a nice little ticker. I pasted it into my signature, and when I use the "preview signature" button, there it is. But when I actually post something, no ticker. Anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks!

miatame,
to answer your question about the ticker, there is a size limit to your sig, if your total sig is bigger than that the ticker will not show. You either have to go without the ticker or take off your quotes. Sorry, but that is the only way.

Hey I was just reading through all of the posts I have missed...there have been a lot!!! I would like that soup recipe too please...I think the whole family would like that one.

LOL It is crazy here. My oldest (Elizabeth) has to cheer tonight, and she has church youth tomorrow night, cheer prac. again on Thu. morn. at 7am, and then Friday we leave for my moms. My youngest (Rebekkah) has a reading club tonight after school, and then she is basically free for the rest of the week! I have to finish up my shopping for my girls, Elizabeth is 14 and she is fairly easy to buy for, but Rebekkah is 9, and she has always been hard to buy for. I guess I will go for a little bit tonight before the game, and all day tomorrow. I won some auctions on EBAY, and I am still waiting on 3 to be delivered....they are all for my DH! AGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I want to go to Ireland NOW!!! LOL I am 3/4 Irish, and have always wanted to go...I think now would be a great time!

Are all of you ready for Christmas? If you are finished and your packages are wrapped.... for you!!!! I am very jealous!!! LOL

Well off to wrestle the wish lists again for awhile.....

Oh by the way...I cheated with pizza last night and this morning...and I am paying the price big time!!! My stomach is killing me!!!!! When will I learn?

Lisa

Here is the cheese burger soup recipe.

Cheeseburger Soup

1 T oil (I used butter instead)
1 t garlic, minced
1/2 green pepper chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, sliced
8-12 oz ground beef
1 beef bouillon cube or packet
2 cups of heavy cream (I used one cup turkey broth...its all I had and one cup 1/2 and 1/2 instead of 2 cups heavy cream)
4-6 oz sharp cheddar cheese, grated (I used 1/2 cheddar and 1/2 monteray Jack)

Heat oil in a soup pot. Saute garlic, onion, celery and green pepper until tender. Add the meat and brown, drain. Mix in the beef bouillon. Slowly
add the cream, stirring constantly, but do not let it boil ( the cream will curdle if allowed to boil.) Add the cheese. Stir until melted and serve.

I also added a small can of mushrooms, 1 tbsp liquid smoke, and a good helping of bacon bits. When I start adding more carbs, Im going to add some bbq sauce to it.

This was delicious....and unbelievably filling. So filling, for supper I was eating a 1/3 of what I normally eat, and if dh had of said, lets skip supper....I wouldnt have had any trouble with that. It certainly keeps my innerfatlady at bay!!

Down 5.5lbs for the last 6 days. Was hoping for more as I've been doing the m&e but still really pleased.

Madihah,
5.5 lbs is quite the accomplishment!
How many days or weeks have you been on CAD?
I had tried it for several weeks, but it was just not the right way to go for me.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Well, we have been up and unwrapped, Im sitting with my coffee, and debris all around my feet!!

I got up and weighed myself this morning instead of tomorrow. Because Im going to have a wonderful cheat day, and I dont want to get on the scale until NEXT week!! Im down 2.5 lbs...so as long as I can maintain this loss this week, I'll be happy!

Have a great day everyone!!
