Measured again - all numbers the same except waist - down to 35 1/2!!! Yaye!!

Again, no formal exercise on Sunday - but I did go sledding with my daughter. It's good to have the energy to do that type of thing again. Then she was so tuckered out I had to pull her on the sled all the way home. I remember doing this just last year and being so tired...yesterday, I could have pulled her for a few more blocks!! And running up and down the hill with the sled winded me - but it didn't kill me...it was actually, envigorating!

Definitely need to put in a "real" work out today - My goal is to work out everyday until Thanksgiving, so I can allow myself a treat or two and not beat myself up about it.

FINALLY got a work out in last night - I have a little challenge going with a few ladies to work out 4 times before Monday. I think my little treat to myself will be a new pair of earrings. I'm feeling dowdy lately and those cute little chandalier earrings everyone has taken to wearing lately will help liven up my BORING wardrobe.

dumbell curls: 2x10 ~ 20
Standing dumb bell press 1x10 ~ 15, 1x5~20, 1x5 ~ 20
shoulder flies: 2x10~15
tricep press: 1x10~20, 1X7~25
leg press: 1x10 ~ 160, 1x7 ~160
leg extensions: 1x10 ~ 55, 1x6 ~ 55
leg curls: 2x10 ~ 55
back extensions; 2x10 ~ 10 lbs (first time with a weight - yaye me!!)
dumbbell press (on bench); 2x10 ~ 20
tricep press (on bench) 1x10 ~20, 1x7~20
rows: 2x10~20

NOTES: I really need to remember to bring a small note book or something with me to keep me on track, I forget to do certain exercises, or at what weight I was at previously. I think it will help my focus.

*dust buster sounds...cleaning up the cobwebs in my gym log...*

OK, I did my first Carmen Electra Strip Tease aerobic CD yesterday, and I was at the pool with my daughter for over an hour, so the weekend wasn't a total waste. I'm afraid to do my measurements cause I've been so idle. I'd hate to measure and be disappointed and have gained some of those inches I've lost. So I'm hanging out in denial. I will not measure myself again or step on the scale until I get 4 more work outs in. The goal is to get those work outs in this week.

Hi Kaizan,

It sounds like you're doing a great job even if you're not getting all of your formal workouts in. I think that one thing that really makes people successfully maintain (and lose for that matter) is simple daily activity. It looks like you enjoy lifting weights as well. I love them! I'm not a huge cardio fan, though. Just keep up the great work, and results will come.
