Default Ketosis

Interestingly, when I do SB, avoid fruits but eat two carbs a day I still register medium on Ketostix.

Has anyone found yourself in Ketosis while doing SB?

I wonder if I added a fruit at midmorning if I would still get a reading....

Just wondering out loud....

I was never able to get into ketosis no matter how few carbs I ate.

I used to test like crazy and by golly that dern little stick never changed colors!

Regardless of the program, anyone can drop into ketosis when the carb count is low enough. For most people that range is 20-40 gms carbs/day. Some stay in ketosis at even higher counts.

Being in ketosis is not a bad thing but, on Sugarbusters, it tells you that you can tolerate another carb level.
