Default Coming Back to Atkins

I had great success with Atkins a few years back, but sadly I didn't learn my lesson the first time around. So, I'm starting again and looking forward to to the rewards that I know come from this way of life. I will start tomorrow and I wil re-read the book, in part, tonight. Well, I'm going to go look for ideas on what to do for lunches because I have pretty long days at work.

Hey, welcome back!

There are a lot of people (myself included) who have been up and down in their numbers but we're still coming back and that's important!

Since you said that you have long work days, can I give you a little tip that you might have forgotten from last time?? Bring PLENTY of food with you for the first few days, maybe the first week back on LC. I know that, for me anyway, I'm pretty hungry the first few days until ketosis/fat burning kicks in and I eat more than I do later on in the plan. So, just from my experience -- make sure you have things that you can eat so you won't get too hungry or be tempted to eat off-plan out of desperation

Best of luck!!

Thanks for the welcome Kikib1028!

Nicole, I'm really glad that you mentioned being really hungry for the first days of Induction I totally forgot that!

Welcome to the forum, LiteCycler. Linda's site has some great recipes in addition to this site.

Good luck! You've had success before and you can do it again!
