Default Time to see change

When you are making a change in your diet, such as removing caffeine, AS, less/more fat, less/more carbs, etc., how long would be a good amount of time to give it to see if that makes a difference or not in your weight loss. I kind of get the feeling that a week would be good, but that really seems like a LONG time for some things (for example: my coffee ).

So how long did it take you to see or not see a change?

I never gave up coffee or Dt. coke. I actually drink one more cup of coffee then I used to, but cut back to just one dt. coke a day with my lunch, and fill in with water throughout the day. I never actually noticed a change in my weight, but I felt better. I always feel better when I consume alot of water. (Even though I end up in the restroom often by afternoon).

I think, as a woman, you've got to give it 4 weeks. 2 weeks out of the month my body is dealing with TOM issues, so you have to factor those two weeks out because god only knows what is going inside ya. And the other two weeks is probably the minumum amount of time to give any change to see if it work. 6 weeks if you really want to give it a fair trial.

I try to give something a good month before I make up my mind as to whether it does or does not work for me.
