Unhappy New and Need Some Advice

Hello Everyone..I'm new to this board but have been on the Atkins diet for almost 2 months now..I started after having my first baby to lose my pregnancy weight plus some..lol..I've lost about 25 so far...But I seem to be stuck on a weight loss plateau....I follow the diet to the letter and exercise everday...Be it with weights or Cardio..and My weight just wont budge..Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to step it up alittle? and get it to melt off again..Any Comments are greatly wanted..Thank you all for taking the time to read this.

Congrats on your new little one!

I think the best way for people to offer suggestions is if you post a day's menu, or better yet, start a journal.

Plateaus are normal - try to be patient. 25 lbs in two months is a success!

Good luck!

hi There,

It's a bit hard to suggest anything without knowing a bit more about what you are doing/eating.

A few suggestions though.

Have you measured yourself....inches may be coming off even though the scale is not moving
Are you keeping up the water intake?
Maybe you have introduced some foods which casue some people to stall - examples are nuts, artificial sweetners dairy products.
maybe there is a bit of "carb creep'? and your intake is higher than you thought.

...or maybe you have just need to let you body rest and adjust, and it will be rearing to go again soon

Did you really lose 25lbs in 2months? That is AWESOME!!!!!
Maybe your body just needs to get used to this new WOE. Please don't be discouraged tho, what you've accomplished is very good for a beginning. So just hang in there! The fat will keep coming off!
