Default low ketosis

Hi! I've been on atkins for 8 months and have always had ketone strips
turn medium pink or higher. Caffeine and dairy have been okay in the diet
so far. For the last 2 weeks my strips have barely turned color!! I'm not
really doing things any different, and I centainly know to look out for hidden
carbs, overeating ect. What gives?

You body becomes more efficient at using fat as a direct energy source the longer you are on a healthy low carb lifestyle - this means less ketones are produced, and the ketones that are produced are more likely to be used for energy - so they won't show up in your urine. IMHO, throw the strips away (I have never used one!) and concentrate on eating as natural and as healthy as possible. Above all. stop stressing about the strips! - and enjoy your new life.

Cheers,

Malcolm

Has anyone tried Propoline diet pills? If so how good are they?
