Today:

Yourself! Fitness Workout -- Upper Body Strength Emphasis, 30 minutes.

This was kind of boring to do without handweights, though I tried to substitute 16-oz. canned food. Next time I'll try Cardio or Weight Loss. But -- I'm up to 30 minutes!

Yesterday, Sun. Apr. 10:
Bowflex Strength-Training Circuit, Routine 1 -- 30 minutes.

Yourself! Fitness Workout -- Core Strength Emphasis, 30 minutes.

Day after tomorrow I have a "fitness test" with the same program -- it'll be neat to see if I have any positive changes.

Yourself! Fitness Workout -- Weight loss emphasis, 10 minutes.

Blah. My workout CD stopped working, and it's been a week before I could get it replaced and working out again.

I wish I had gone outside, ran, something. Now I have a hard time working out again. My "monthly visitor" is making it a little more difficult. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.

Yourself! Fitness Workout -- Fitness evaluation, 15 minutes.

My resting heart rate and elevated heart rate have both gone down quite a bit -- my elevated from 150 bpm (after 2 minutes of jumping jacks) to 132!This is great, after only 2 weeks of workouts.

I'm still looking for a simple diet. I wish I could have flexibility AND a diet, but it doesn't seem to really work that way.

Man, I overslept 'til noon today and did not work out. Hope to get to it later tonight or at least tomorrow.

Yourself! Fitness -- 15 minutes, Upper Body Emphasis. -- killing me!

Bowflex Strength-Training Circuit, Routine 1 -- 30 minutes.

Now I want to work on doing this all faster. I tend to have a lot of stops and starts.

Yourself! Fitness -- 30 minutes, Lower Body Emphasis

This kicked my butt! I'm feeling shaky afterwords, a little lightheaded.

Yesterday:

Bowflex Strength-Training Circuit, Routine 1 -- 15 minutes.
Today:

Yourself! Fitness -- 15 minutes, Flexibility Emphasis

This was meant to be a 30 minute workout, but I was feeling very tired -- fatigue from yesterday's weightlifting and cutting my calories, I guess. I forced myself to finish 15.

I love this program. The instructor, Maya, had said, "It's best to do just a small amount if you're pressed for time," when I returned after missing someworkouts. This programmed person's statement is what kept me going for 15 minutes!

Yourself! Fitness -- 15 minutes, Cardio emphasis

I actually _wanted_ to exercise today. What's happening?

I'm hoping that my capacity increases.

Yourself! Fitness -- 30 minutes, Core emphasis

I felt really wiped out afterwords. I'm just gonna have to do a 5 minute warm-up on my own and then do the 15 minute workout until I can do more. I want to be better-conditioned, but I hate being brain-dead and exhausted the rest of the day after exercising.

Maybe I'll start doing these exhausting workouts before bed! That should solve my insomnia problem! And I can do yoga in the AM.
