After reading these posts, I had to grab my DL and see what lie I had told! Well, apparently PA doesn't put weight on their DL's but my HEIGHT was wrong! I'm actually 1 inch taller than I said I was. I'm not sure what I was trying to accomplish with THAT lie!

I would go soley by how much you still look like your picture. (Well, as much as anyone looks like their mug shot. )

The last thing you want is to show your dl and get arrested for passing a fake id!

By all means! What better way to change a generally negative experience (i.e. having to lie on the DL because of being embarassed by our weight), into something positive (i.e. being so proud of what you have achieved and not embarassed by your weight).

If I were you, I'd get my butt to the DMV and change it right away!!!!

I can't wait to be the weight on my DL either!! 10 more pounds to go...hope to be there by July!

My license says 145, and I'm leaving it til it's up for renewal again. I'm too cheap to pay for a replacement one!

and i agree mine says im 5'6" and imonly 5'4" but they measured me if i remember correctly

I wouldn't bother getting a new licence. Spend the money on a new shirt or pair of jeans.....

I looked at my drivers license...it says I weigh 125. lmao. (yeah...10 years ago)

We don't have weights on ours, but I know that when I renew, I'm going for a new picture...lol. OMG, *everyone* comments on the difference. The lady at the bank....that police officer with the nice eyes who pulled me over yesterday...everyone!

Whyspers not only did the lady at the bank comment on mine she freaking fingerprinted me because I didn't have a account there( I was cashing the petty cash check for work) and they couldn't vouch for me because the pic didn't look like me! I don't remember if I posted it before but my DL said 209( the picture was deffinantly heavier) I weigh 145 now.

1) You could keep it around as a constant reminder of what a GREAT job you've done!! Getting fingerprinted ...YIKES... but you coulda just laughed at the lady.. WOW what a great job you've done.

2) You can do anything you darn well please.. you've EARNED it!! If it makes you feel better or WHATEVER.. go get the new license!! You might even get them to waive the fee because you look so different!

Anywho.. did you ever even imagine that this would be the problem you're trying to solve?? That you're so in shape and healthy that you can't be recognized from your own picture?? LOL.. WOOHOO I say.. WOOHOO!!
