Yesterday we went to the zoo and a big home decor store . I got a lot of walking in . Day before yesterday I planted over 100 flower bulbs . Today I'm gouing to jump back on with the 2 mile watp tape and my upper body work out.

About those stretches/ exercises I tried ( The Superman Sling , The Piston , The Scarlett O'Hara ) they are very intense. For two days every cough and laugh I have felt in my very sore abs. I never got that from situps or crunches. They just hurt my neck.

The 2 mile tape is Leslie Sansone's walk away the pounds . I bought the 3 tape set ( 1 mile , 2 mile , 3 mile ) pretty cheaply on half.com . The basic moves are walking in place , side steps , knee lifts, kicks , and occasionally kick backs ( where your heel is close to the back of your thigh) . Also there are arm movements while you walk. With these you can use weights or just do them without the weights . I like them cause they do not take a lot of room to do , and the steps are so easy.

Probably taking today off . I'm getting great results with the weights , but finding it hard to stay motivated with them . I'm going to have to find a way to get back on track with them .

Default finally :)

Today is a goal met day . In the beginning of february I started the walk away the pounds tapes. I was very out of shape. I had to do 7 minutes break 5 minutes. The next day I did 8 minutes. Everyday I added a minute until I was doing the whole 1 mile with no breaks. Today I did the 3 mile tape for the very first time . I modified a tad , but I made it straight through with no breaks . I'm going to order the 4 mile and get ready to work up to it .

I took several days off from working out . Yesterday I tried the three mile and could not do it again. Between my t.o.m. and the off days I'm feeling weak and tired. So today I did the one mile tape , my plan is 5 days at one mile then back to the 2 for 10 days then try the 3 again.

walked the 2 mile today . Feeling better already . Its wierd you get tired don't want to exercise , the inactivity makes you more tired , but the exercise itself ( even if you are tired when you start) adds energy.

My muscles hate me . I bought "shaping up with weights for dummies" video . Because I want to work on form . I thought the visual would help more than books and internet. I went back to 4 and 8lb weights till I can get the form down properly . March the 29th was the last day I did weights. Well today I tried my new tape with the lighter weights and only made it through half the tape . I know most of it is all my off days from exercise , but I think that before I was cheating with "easy form" and momemtum and rocking the weights , proper form is a lot harder.

Walked the one mile tape today . I feel better not as good as when I was doing the 2 mile regularly , but better than when I do nothing.
