Default How much weight did you lift with at first?

I am not sure with how much I should start out with? I guess it's trail and error...with time I will find out.

If you've never lifted before, start with 5 lbs. and do the first 12 reps. Feel how your muscles are reacting to deduce if it is 50% of what you can bear. If not, either increase or decrease.

You're right! It is trial and error.

Maybe you want to take a notebook to refer to when doing your weight training. I can never remember what weight I did last time and it helps me see how far I have come. e.g. I can do 240lbs on the leg press machine now! Still have alot of work to do on the upper body though

Bec,

If you go to the Body for Life Website , and at the top click on downloads, you can download copies of daily workout sheets to keep track of your exercises, weights and reps.
