Question low carb plan

My wife has seen me on the Atkins diet for about a month, and is impressed with the weight loss. She has tried Atkins for about a week and a half, and she couldn't even look at the sight of meat. Is there another LC plan that might benefit her? I've tried looking up SB on the web, but couldn't find anything that showed much about it. Any ifno on links about other LC plans would be more than helpful to us.

Hi,

What you're looking for is just to the right --> "Which low-carb plan is right for me?" Click there for summaries of the plans, but be sure to read the books, too. They should be available from your library. HTH.

Hi there Michael....

I can certainly understand your wife's difficulty with meat. Beginning Atkins can certainly feel like that's all that we are eating. When you say "meat" though.....are you referring to just beef? The protein on the Atkins plan can come from many different sources: beef, chicken, pork, fish, shellfish, eggs and cheese. It may take some getting used to, but I think with a little persistance, we pretty much all adjust.

You could check out some journals around the forum, where members post their menus and that might give you a better idea of how we manage the plan.

HTH
