I was on vacation last week and was watching a TV show where Dolly Parton said she lost 30 lbs. in 3 months - do you think that's possible. Dolly, at her heaviest didn't seem as though she could do that on this plan. What do you think?

Did she say she did it via Atkins? I am surprised, I always saw her as tiny. Her arms are the littlest things. Never knew she had a weight issue.

As far as 30 pounds in 3 months, I am really surprised but I guess it is feasible. That would be about 2 pounds a week or 10 pounds a month. Lucky her!

Yep, it was Atkins. The show was called "The View" and they were debating low fat / low carb and she was on. I have always seen her as tiny too, but the picture they showed of her, she was kind of "chubby".

you also have to remember that a very common first place for women to lose is in the chest....perhaps that clears up the mystery... or not

I've, unfortunately, never lost anything from my chest - I'm considering breast reduction next year.

Had BR two years ago and it was the absolute best thing I ever did! Fixed my posture and helped my body image. Also, you can't even see the scars now.

Dolly Parton lost the weight when she was in a movie with Sylvester Stallone. He encouraged helped her to do a lot of exercise along with the dieting. She used to look great but now she has such a tiny waist, it's amazing. She has kept it off for almost 10 years.

My boobs are the first things to have deflated in the past I dont like that
This time with LC I have barely noticed any change at all and Ive lost 30 pound so far. My waist and hips and rib cage have gone down about 5 inches each but my bust only one inch . I dont have heaps and will be thrilled if for some wonderfully strange reason I dont lose it all.
