Cool July Crackdown LC Megaeffort

Wendye came up with the brilliant idea of "July Crackdown LC Megaeffort" originally & I'm thrilled to be part of it

In July, I will try to:
(a) Drink at least 6L of water a day.
(b) Use my dumbells for 10 minutes everyday.
(c) No carbage
(d) Take my supplements everyday.

See ya

Bebe

Thumbs up Good 4 u, Bebe / Wendy

I'll raise my glass (of water) to wishing you success, Bebe. Love the no carbage

In July I will:

1) Take my Ventolin (readings went dangerously low)
2) Exercise more (I can)
3) Maintain LCing in the manner I have in June
4) Be disciplined and have 3 (1 a week) of the 24 Mini Choclate Eclairs in my freezer - the rest are for visitor(s).

Take care,

Smile Dang! Send some rain this way!!!

We sure could use that rain here!!
I guess when you said you are drinking more water, from the sky isn't what you meant.

My Goals:
1. Induction
2. More water than 3 liters
3. No sweetners other than two splenda packets.
4. Get out there walking, to prepare for an August walk race.
5. Stand in a downpour of rain

Talking

I'm here, too!

For me in July I will:

(a) Record all food eaten in my journal, with fitday stats.

(b) Omit all nuts from my life. I know I won't do this forever, but am aiming to omit them for July.

(c) Go easy on the cheese, but not omit it all together.

(d) Take it easy on the cream. I know cream is a problem for me, so just a little. I will only buy the UHT stuff, as it's not nearly as yummy as the fresh but perfectly okay to cook with.

(e) Exercise more! And record that in my journal as well.

(f) Forget about sweet treats. I know only too well that Splenda slows me, so I'll save the thought of another treat for well into the future.

(g) Save alcohol for very special occasions only.

Good luck everybody! We can do it!!!!

rain? course its raining, Little Ann is going camping, and I have bought summer cropped trousers, its sports days/wimbledon what else would it be doing?
my vow over July is to continue what Iam doing 'cos maybe - maybe- its a good combination for me

1) 60%/35%/5%
2) no nuts , and whyever did I even buy the smoked almonds which are calling me right now
3) cheese - only mozzarella and feta

4) not much in the way of gin and red wine. I have my gin with fizzy water, that means its ok, right ?

5) my worst thing. I dont drink enough water. I always, always get in the 10 glasses a day but any more is a struggle. Try for 12.

good luck everyone.

...with the pounds...

Great Idea this: JULY CRACKDOWN LC MEGA-EFFORT!

You know my friend Wendye says she has no middle name but I think she's just being modest. I think her middle name is: "Brilliant" for coming up with ideas for us two months in a row.

And Plum gets the award for inventing the most perfect LCing word in our vocabulary: "CARBAGE"!

SWEET BEBE gets a SPECIAL THANKS for starting this thread!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm adding "TAE BO WORKOUT" everyday this month..."gotta keep those upper arms firm"! I also bought a couple more workout videos that I'll incorporate into my exercise regiment: Leslie Sansone's WALK Aerobics (for the 40 plus) "walk 2 miles in the privacy of your own home" and National Aerobic Champion Michelle LeMay's FUNKY BIZNESS cardio workout!
I'm attaching a picture of me a few years back when I was at the 162 lbs, that I'm at today. I'll attach a updated one when I get to my 140 lbs goal.
GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY! GOD BLESS US ALL!
Hello everyone.
I asked the Whoosh Fairy if she wouldn't mind calling in to the July Crackdown LC Mega Efforters and she promised to do her best...
It looks as though she has already taken on some of our fat and carbage!
