Angry Waht happened to me?

I had not been weighing myself because I had no scale. I got one yesterday and my weight has fluctuated between 10 lbs for the last 24 hours . I know that I am not supposed to weigh more than once a day or even once or twice a week, but I want to get a reading by which to go by ,so that I know if I am losing at all and I am so depressed now that I have seen this. What do you guys think? Someone please help.

Good news, Claudine, you're normal!

Why the scales lie

Weigh yourself once a day, at the same time, in the same clothing (or lack of clothing). Stay away from it for the rest of the day, unless you're interested in observing the fluctuations. If they are going to upset you, stay away!!!

My Ketostix are on the second to the darkest color, I am drinking lots and lots of water I have stuck to the diet to a T, And I have been exercising like crazy, as much as I can and as often as I can.

Default Weighing yourself

Hi Claudine29

Don't panic, what Natrushka wrote is correct, that's normal.

I weigh myself first thing in the morning, before drinking anything, w/o clothes. If you weigh yourself throughout the day, you aren't going to get the same weight each time. The scales just give me an estimate b/c I seem to vary between 2 pounds. It's how my clothes fit that let's me know I'm doing good.

I don't do the Ketostix. My body tells me I'm sticking to the plan and I never felt the need for them.

I vary 6-7 lbs a day. I take my official wait in the morning, after going potty and nekid, that is the only one that I officially ever go by. However, I am 2 lbs more just with cloths and my watch on. I wear a medical bag and I am a total of 3.5 lbs heavier when I have cloths and the bag on. The other 2-3 lbs are purely water and food fluctuations within my body. So, don't fret, follow Nat's advice and all will be well.
