Default Howdy

My Name is Jeff and I am a 36 year old male that is just way too sexy to be fat

I am a very focused person and will not be denied of my target weight of 190.

I had a heck of a day one and two but I am finally feeling good after day 3.

Bought ketostix today and I am actually in the trace range.
Other than a single Romain lettuce salad (small) per day I am only getting trace amounts of the carbs anywhere else.
Eating cheese and eggs and steaks

Wish me success, I will do the same for you.

Jeff

best of luck to you Jeff.

don't get veggie-phobic. Two salads and a cup or two of cooked LC veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, asparagus, summer squash) per day is important for "regularity", getting phytochemicals, and developing good long-term habits that will see you enjoy permanent weight loss and increased health.

Arrow Read a book

Hey buddy,

I see you are following Atkins , also that you have not read his book DANDR . I dont mean to dampen your enthusiasm but it is the quickest way to mess this WOE up and the quickest way to throw in the towel when things dont go according to plan.

I wish you the best of luck with this endeavour and do yourself a favour read the book !

Rob

Smile Hello Jeff and welcome

Jeff, Razzle is right. Try to add your vegetables to your WOE. It helps to keep you from getting bored with the same food. It also helps to stop food tolerance later on. I have been on this WOE since Dec. 2001 and I have never felt better. Keep posting and we are here to help. Also start a journal. It helps allot and people can help you when you need us. I have found out that water is one of my keys in losing weight. I drink at least 64 oz. of water a day or more. Keep us posted with your success.

I know I need to add more veggies and will soon, I have always been a big meat eater and this has not been real hard for me so far.

As far as water I drink atleast 100 ounces every day and usually pass the 60 ounce mark before dinner but I am a Big Guy and I have a very physical job

To answer swimmers question... I do not excercise at all except for what I do on my FEDEX route
I sweat alot and get alot of excercise but I can always use more

To the others that responded wishing me well on my new WOL thank you and I wish you all success as well

Jeff

200 Pages into it now and thank you because the book HAS been the #1 best advice so far and I would recommend it to anyone as well.

Default Good morning

Jeff, just looked at your profile and yes you are a big man. You are even taller than my brother. He is also on Atkins and doing good and he is also a big meat eater. Well here hoping you have a great day.
