Cool Low Carb Heaven - a Store!!

I am so excited. I have been low carbing since last August and I just found a store near me, in Amherst, NH called Low Carb Heaven. It has every cool item mentioned on this board in it! It has flax seeds, low carb or no carb baking mixes, low carb barbaque sauce and ketchup plus low carb treats such as truffles and peanut brittle... all low carb There are books and viatmins... plus flours and other refrigorated products.
The best news is that the woman who owns the store is now opening one in Manchester, NH, where I live.
Oh yes!!! Pastas and everything.
I still want to eat whole foods but lets face it, ladies, there are times during the month where a low carb treat can be useful.
(This is my worse week for low carbing).
So I psyched!!!

Cool

How exciting! Where exactly is Amherst, NH? I live in north central MA, half an hour from the NH border, so I'd definitely visit if it were somewhere in southern NH.

Hi Lessara,

Would you submit the address and some products description to our LC YellowPages? This should help more low-carbers find it.

Cool Location Location

Wa'il, Where exactly is the LC Yellow Pages??

The two locations for Low Carb Heaven are:

131 Rte 101A #4
Amherst, NH 03033
(Exit 7 off Route 3, 4.5 miles west on 101A)

Maple Tree Mall
Manchester NH, 03104
(Exit 9 S, 1/2 Mile South on D.W. Highway)

Oh I meant to tell you, my roommate found the place by looking through the coupons in the valpak that comes in the mail.
Two coupons are included: Free Low Carb Truffle and $5 off $25 purchase or $10 off $50 purchase. (Exp. 7/31/02)

Default Hi Lessara...

I shop there myself living only 10 minutes away from there! I have picked up lots of different low carb books there too.

It's exciting having a place that caters to our WOL!

It's available on our "Low Carb Tools" page, and in the quick links on the right.

But I think you found it As I see the entries are now listed.

I went to the Amherst store today. They had everything! I bought Da Vinci raspberry syrup, 2 kinds of flax meal (which I'm trying now), low carb tortillas, barbecue sauce, cheesecake cups for the SO, and some kind of kahlua cake goodie. What a great place to shop low carb, thanks lessara! I never go up that way, so I never would have known about it.

Smile Thanks!

Have you tried the baked bread, oh my goodness it tastes like wheat bread! So my roommate tells me. I am trying to not have artificial food because I'm trying to break my carb habit. But oh were the sugar free truffles so hard to resist!!
We did find that we didn't like the Key lime syrup... yeck..
But the flax hot cereal yum!! (I was such an oatmeal and cream of wheat breakfast person).
